RLR’s spam filter has gone too far
If you run a blog, people are going to try posting spam. Luckily RLR has a filter that unclogs the gutters of free speech, or whatever.
But today I was dismayed to find our filter wrongly zapped a proper baseball post, left by someone obviously concerned about the Cubs’ recent roster moves. The entire post below, in italics:
Do you think Michel Jackson killed himself?
What you think about my web? http://www.[URL omitted].com fast cash advances fast cash advances
I think the poster makes a good point, you know? The Cubs were going for a fast advance by putting speedster Sam Fuld on the roster briefly, but it came down to cash, and with the money they’d spent on Reed Johnson it didn’t make sense to keep Fuld in the majors.
The Michael Jackson analogy is a little dark, though. I get the tie to Ryan Freel, who, like Jackson, was a little loopy, and the insinuation that he “killed himself” into being traded.
